Influenced by The Eagles, Skynyrd, FogHat and friend lonesome Dave Peverett, Journey, Bad Company, Jackson Browne, Waylon Jennings, Pink Floyd, Ghost Riders, Barry Lee Harwood, and the Rossington Collins Band, Jackson Brown, Blackfoot, Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs, Alice in Chains, Travis Tritt and many other classic rock, southern rock, and outlaw country music artists.
Stan has developed his own Style of guitar playing that started with learning finger picking styles such as the “Travis style” as a child and has over the years evolved into playing with his fingers but getting the attack and tonal qualities usually associated with a pick or plectrum, but of course he still uses a pick sometimes.
